The Problem

Design a medication organizer that alleviates common problems related to taking medication for individuals ages 65+

The common problems we aim to address include:

• Difficulty opening pill containers

• Remembering which pills to take on which days, and at which time

• Picking up individual pills

Objective

Solution

I worked with a partner created a new form of packaging pills where the user receives a pre-sorted container of pills for two weeks with 4 give times, morning, noon, evening, and night.

They place the container onto pre-given base and they simply rotate once per day to receive their pills.

3-D Modeling

My partner used CAD to create a final 3-D model of our project which was then used to 3-D print a working prototype.

Final Product

User now will no longer need to sort pills or remember which pills to take per day, the system has been made automatic.

Minimal effort encourages users to take their pills consistently and at proper times.
